We are proud to announce that a percentage of the proceeds from the World Top Model event will be donated to WEModel USA NWECare. World Top Model's platform and cause is "Mental Health." Mental health is a growing concern worldwide, impacting everyone.
The fashion shows impact everyone who attends them, offering a unique way to bring awareness to the public and for World Top Model to give back. A perfect alignment and partnership with WEModel USA and WEModel USA NWECare, an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, allows WTM to give back to our community. WEModel USA was organized in 2017 and is committed to serving women and aspiring youth pursuing careers in the fashion and entertainment industries. In 2022, WEModel USA received numerous proclamation letters from Maryland and DC Government Officials for their significant role in addressing human sex trafficking and their community outreach initiatives. WEModel USA NWECare brought awareness and education on global social issues such as human trafficking through the lens of beauty, fashion, and entertainment online and with full production events.
Mental health is a growing concern worldwide, impacting everyone. Often models are victims of heinous crimes such as human sex trafficking, domestic assault, and child abuse and are left with mental issues well after the abuse is gone. We want to help society identify early signs of mental disorders. World Top Model supports WEModel USA in their community-outreach awareness campaigns, their alliances with governments, and their ongoing international relationship with organizations to provide resources for those suffering from anxiety, emotional numbness, depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
World Top Model is a high caliber event that selects a model that fully represents the values of the modeling and fashion industry. The objective of the event is to highlight the importance the model plays in fashion and in doing so pay homage to Beauty and to Fashion.
